Simulation is driving today’s product development process and testing data provides the information needed to validate designs. In some instances it isn’t practical, cost effective or even possible to have a test engineer on site 24/7 to monitor equipment and collect data.
Unattended testing allows equipment to be instrumented and data captured around the clock in that equipment’s natural environment. This ensures that anomalies and other significant events are captured. Data is stored and uploaded via the Cloud by any pc or mobile device. In addition to collecting data for simulation, information captured via unattended testing can be used to predict when maintenance may be required or troubleshoot problems and failure with the system.
